Featured Project: Commercial Glazing, Edinburgh
Scratches left by vinyl window graphics removal
Extensive scraper scratches were left across 12 glass panels of varying sizes when vinyl window graphics were removed from commercial glazing in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Actual project photographs — before and after restoration.
Roughly 26 m² of glazing was affected, and visual restoration is approximately 97%. The existing glass was retained, avoiding extensive replacement.
Our Approach
Each project begins with an assessment of scratch depth, glass type and location. If restoration is viable, the scratches are removed by controlled polishing and the finish is checked from several angles in normal lighting.
If it is not, we will recommend replacement rather than attempt an unsuitable repair.
